You’re standing in front of the mirror in your underwear and bra. You’re turning to your right, then left, scanning your body up and down. You grab your belly roll with both hands and say to yourself; “if only this would disappear.”
I’m here to tell you honey that almost every woman is self-conscious about something on their body.
I’m here to tell you that you’re not alone.
I’m here to tell you that rolls, dimples, cellulite, stretch marks, outie belly buttons, saddle bags, muffin tops, back fat, cankles. Whatever you have, whatever you call it, whatever you’re self-conscious about, it’s OKAY!
It’s okay because YOU CAN do something about it.
It’s okay because YOU CAN change your body. Yes, you can!
Everyone wants a magic pill that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Everyone wants that magic wand that will transform them back to when they were in high school. Yep, in high school everything was tighter, and smaller (typically everything is smaller except for our boobs. Thank goodness my boobs got bigger, ha!). Everyone wants that’s liquid injection that melts away body fat from the inside. Or what about taking all the fat that’s around the belly and thighs and moving it to the boobs! Is that a thing? I actually think that’s a thing now, like there is a procedure that will do that! Crazy! But that’s not the point.
The point is you cannot spot reduce stomach fat. Nope. You can’t do ab crunches and expect your rolls to disappear into a flat, oblique defined stomach. Gosh, if only, right?
What you have to do is reduce overall body fat. Yep, reduce body fat. Easy enough, right?
Well, kind of. Easier said than done. You could go on a very restrictive diet, lower your caloric intake and be completely miserable because you’re so hungry.
You could go on a no carb diet, but by the end of day you’re craving carbs (bread, pasta, granola, potatoes, wine, etc) so badly that you say screw the diet today, eat to your hearts content and feel completely guilty the following day for the poor choices you made yesterday. *Did you know that when you reduce carb intake your body starts losing water weight? That’s right, that’s why people typically lose a significant amount of weight (water weight) the first week or two they are on a low carb diet. There’s no fat loss, yet.
There has to be a better way, right?
The struggle is real my girl, but the answer is YES. Yes, there is a better way.
YOU CAN make the decision TODAY to become healthy and happy. YOU CAN make the decision today; the buck stops here. YOU CAN make the decision today to lead a healthy, sustainable lifestyle without the roller coaster yoyo diets.
START NOW, RIGHT HERE.
I’m here to show you how it can be done without dieting and feeling guilty.
#1 Think: Lean Muscle Burns Fat
#2 Think: High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Builds Lean Muscle
I’ve been doing high intensity interval training (HIIT) for years now and have been in the fitness industry since 2005. I actually started HIIT because I wanted an alternative or hybrid workout without running. Running wreaks havoc on the joints. I want healthy joints as I age. With HIIT I found that I can burn more calories than running AND gain lean muscle which means I’m BURNING FAT! I’m at the healthiest weight I’ve ever been and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. Follow along with me as I share my HIIT workouts on Instagram, Facebook or both. Save the workouts so you can do them later, at home or at the gym. HIIT is so versatile, you can do it anywhere!
